Honor Gaia

Over the last 3 month I have been using Earth Star Spray Mist and Dose Essence as part of my chakra journey. I keep meaning to move on to Healing Energy, but I feel so drawn to the message and vibrational qualities of Earth Star the I keep using them. With ongoing use, I am noticing a deep awareness of connection, not just to the earth but also other women on a similar path.

It is over these months that I finally picked up ‘If Women Rose Rooted’ by Sharon Blackie and started reading it. Usually with non-fiction, I find myself drifting off to another book and juggling 2 or 3 at a time or just putting them down for a few weeks to read some sci-fi or fantasy. Not this book, it keeps drawing me back with real and mythical stories of women’s connection to the land. While I don’t relate to all the Celtic myths, the theme throughout the book is one of a journey back to authenticity and rootedness in place. This resonates strongly!

Of course, what we pay attention to grows and my Instagram feed is jam packed with messages from women such as Hera Morgan:

“There is a deep wound and a direct correlation between how we treat Mother Earth and how we treat Women. We cannot heal one without healing the other.”

And proofing Annie’s revised edition of Spirt of Women*, reminds me of how women’s healing is deeply connected to, and intertwined with the gifts from Mother Earth. *Watch this space for the upcoming launch

Even a meditation series I ‘happened upon’ and started focusses on a pulsating ball of red brown light beneath your feet, where the earth chakra is located.

Chakra 10

Located beneath the feet, it connects us to the Earth. It taps us into the primary knowledge that the Earth is our mother, whom we must honour and acknowledge.

There are different ways to connect with the vibrational healing energies of Earth Star. For me, I think two powerful connection points have occurred:

I am deeply grounded in my body and to the earth, which has tapped me into my body intelligence. Long standing niggling health concerns have resolved or shifted in a positive direction. Again, I happened to ‘find’ just the right people / practice to facilitate these shifts, and my feeling is that really listening to my body and being present, rather than trying to think it through, has been key to these changes and the ease at which they occurred.

I have been noticing and paying attention to the natural world around me. I have always felt better in nature, but as an adult I haven’t always been present when surrounded by it. Now I am experiencing memories of natural places I have visited before, remembering how the environment looked, down to the smallest detail, how I felt, the breeze or sun on my skin. I have been remembering growing up in the bush of Mt Nebo and having a natural playground to explore. As far as memories go, they are wonderful.

Of course, in the here and now I am also noticing the natural world around me with more attention. Right now, I can look past my computer screen and enjoy Swamp Lily in full bloom amongst the other plants in my suburban garden. I can see my pineapple growing and watch day by day as it gets closer to harvest. Each time I drive up Mt Nebo for work, on a particular stretch of the road through the forest, I look for the native grasses and grass trees flourishing with all the rain.

Using Earth Star Spray Mist and Dose Essence over the past few months has been a gradual and profound grounding experience, into my body and the natural world around me. One I’m not quite ready to finish! I know my time for Healing Energy is coming but I am just going to keep going with Earth Star for a few more weeks.
