Soul Star: the 9th Chakra
Where the Eighth Chakra (Soul Path) clears the pathway to ‘knowing’ your unique soul destiny by assisting you to clear out the backlog of unhelpful or unwanted thought patterns, the Ninth Chakra (Soul Star) encourages you to get in touch with your unique soul purpose and act from a place of truly knowing yourself.
Located about 45cm above the head, the function of this chakra is to oversee and plot your soul’s path. Its colour is gold. Known as ‘the seat of the soul’ chakra, it carries your soul purpose and the vibratory keys that mark your uniqueness; that is, that which makes your life journey different to any other person on the planet. In effect, it is your ‘spiritual DNA’, which in turn generates your physical DNA, the guiding template that determines the characteristics of your physical body. When the Eighth Chakra (Soul Path) has been cleared of all accumulated debris that blocked full knowledge of yourself, then the Soul Star can function optimally, getting you in touch with your own true soul identity. The Ninth Chakra carries a similar, but much higher vibrational resonance to the Solar Plexus Chakra (Third Chakra)
Mind-Body Connection
Energetic: having an activated and resonant Soul Star chakra means that you, or a practitioner you may be working with, can assist you in making the right decisions to fulfill your life-path destiny and work to support the expression of your physical DNA by using energetically attuned symbols that resonate with your personal ‘spiritual DNA’.
Physical - relates to the diaphragm which regulates the flow of breath (qi) into all parts of the body, facilitates balanced distribution of hormones throughout the body and relates to the pineal gland, the function of which is to oversee all cycles in the body and of the soul (includes past lives). It also resonates with and governs the corpus collosum, the bridge between the left and right sides of the brain and other higher learning centres including the cortex and the neo-cortex. By this action, when in balance, it brings coherence to the mind and clarity to your thinking.
Emotional - relates to higher feelings associated with optimism for yourself, the planet and humanity, caring for others as a way of life, practicing universal love for all life forms, and acting locally to fulfill global needs. Having an activated Soul Star helps to discern between being a servant to others and being a Light-Worker (in service to the Light). It strengthens our personal boundary so that we are not being ‘walked over’ by others. When blocked, often we can’t find our own soul-purpose and will detour from our soul’s path. We give our energy away to another person or cause. We become a victim, rather than standing in our own personal power.
Mental – it’s all about alignment with purpose and having the mental clarity to put your spiritual truths into action. Sprouting ideals without follow-through can lead to a sense of being hypocritical or false.
Consciousness - the consciousness of this chakra is where the ego is transcended, but a strong sense of Self emerges. There is a recognition of ‘service’ of a higher order, where we become a part in the universal force of the All-That-Is contributing to the greater good of all.
Summary: Alignment with purpose
Connecting to one’s higher purpose and assisting the greater good, where possible, is the keynote here:
Rather than simply serving another person for the personal gain (security, love, recognition etc) we serve our higher purpose, that of assisting all humanity for the greater good.
Being in love with Life and recognising the gift of life, offered freely, so that you can fulfill your own soul-purpose.
Recognizing the importance of letting go and moving on at all levels of being.
